<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton city Council was held Tuesday, July 26, 1983, at <br />7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor GreggHarcus, Councilmembers Roger Blomquist, <br />Jeanette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: Robert Benke <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />Charles LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Leslie Proper, City Engineer <br />James Winkels, Director of Community Development/ <br />Acting City Manager <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to approve the minutes <br />of July 12, 1983, as submitted. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council, directed receipt <br />of the Park Board minutes of July 6, 1983. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist to approve the consent <br />agenda items as follows: <br /> <br />1. Consolidated Fund Voucher Nos. 070765-070793 & 063718-063801 <br /> <br />2. Liquor Fund Voucher Nos. 019908-19965 & 015349-015404 <br /> <br />3. Consider approval of expenditures for Senior Citizen Trip. <br />Report #83-194 <br /> <br />4. Consider approval of quotes for printing City newsletter <br />and Park and Recreation brochure. Report #83-195 <br /> <br />5. Consider waiver of license fees for St. John's Church for <br />beer and food licenses. Report #83-196 <br /> <br />6. Consider Resolution establishing an amended levy for <br />the general obligation water bonds of 1982. Report #83-197 <br /> <br />7. Consider approval of final payment to State Auditor's <br />Office for investigative report on liquor. Report #83-198 <br /> <br />8. Consider approval of contribution to Firemen's Relief. <br />Report #83-199 <br />
