\. ,'# '" // _n ._____" ,r Member Schmidt introduced the fOllowing reso- lution and moved its adoption: CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2656 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 4 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS 273.71 TO 273.78, INCLUSIVE, AS AMENDED AND AP- PROVING AND ADOPTING A TAX INCREMENT FINANCE PLAN FOR SAID TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota (the "City"), as fol- lows: Section I. Recitals. 1.01. It has been proposed that the City establish a new tax increment district within Development District No. 1 hereinafter referred to as Tax Increment District No. 4 and approve and adopt a tax increment financing plan with respect thereto, all pursuant to and in accordance wi th Minnesota Statutes, Sections 273.71 to 273.78, inclusive, as amended. 1.02. This Council has investigated the facts and has caused to be prepared the proposed Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment District No. 4 (the "Financing Plan"), defining more precisely the property to be included in Tax Increment Distr ict No. 4 and other matters relating thereto. 1.03. The City has performed all actions required by law to be performed prior to the establishment of Tax Incre- ment District No. 4 and the approval and adoption of the Financing Plan relating thereto, including consultations with Ramsey County and School District No. 621 having taxing jurisdiction over the property proposed to be included in Tax Increment Distr ict No. 4 and the holding of a public hearing upon published and mailed notice as required by law. 1.04. The Council hereby determines that it is neces- sary and in the best interests of the City at this time to establish Tax Increment District No. 4 and to approve and adopt the Financing Plan relating thereto.
