" ~ RESOLUTION NO 2631 I II " !.~ ~ STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION ORDERING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT NEW SUBDIVISIONS WHEREAS, a stop sign is warranted where a less import- 'II ant road enters a main road and application of the normal right-of-way rule is unduly hazardous; and I I i I I I WHEREAS, as the following new streets in 3 new residen- tial subdivisions were installed in 1982 which warrant the installation of new stop signs at the following locations. 1. Innsbruck North 3rd Addition 14th Street NW was extended west of 29th Avenue NW. A stop sign should be installed on 29th Avenue at 14th Street to protect the through traffic on 14th Street NW. 2. Innsbruck North Silver Lake Addition The new short cul-de-sac, 26th Avenue NW should be stopped at 14th Street NW to protect the through traffic on 14th Street NW. 3. Innsbruck North 4th Addition The new long cul-de-sac, 12th Street NW should be stopped at North Innsbruck Drive to protect the through traffic on North Innsbruck Drive. WHEREAS, Chapter 20 of the New Brighton City Code I requires all stop signs to be designated by resolution of I the City Council. I I NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton that stop signs be installed at the following 3 locations: ,. l. On 29th Avenue NW where it enters 14th Street NW. 2 . On 26th Avenue NW where it enters 14th Street NW. II 3 . On 12th Street NW where it enters North Innsbruck I' Drive.
