<br />1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2620 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON OLD HIGHWAY #8 STORM SEWER, PROJECT 78-7 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota <br />as fo 11 ows : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law the City <br />Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed <br />assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br /> <br />All benefitted property within the area 800 feet east and <br />west of the centerli ne of 01 d Hi ghway #8 between 2nd Street! <br />NW and 6th Street SW'I <br /> <br />The installation of storm sewer. <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br />a part thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special <br />assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land <br />therein i ncl uded is hereby found to be benefi tted by the proposed <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending <br />over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the installments to <br />be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1983, and shall <br />bear interest at the rate of12~ percent per annum from the adoption of <br />this assessment resolution. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole <br />of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date <br />of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the <br />adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay <br />the County Treasurer the balance of assessments remaining unpaid <br />with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case <br />made and provided. <br />4.
