<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton as follows:

<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin June 10,
<br />17 & 24, 1982 and Construction Bulletin June 11, 18 & 25, 1982, bids for im-
<br />provement Projects 82-6 and 82-10 were received, opened and read aloud by the
<br />City Administration at 11:00 A.M., July 6,1982 according to law and the
<br />follo\'ling bids were received complying with the advertisement.

<br />HHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder meeting bid specifications was
<br />, found to be Northwest Asphalt Inc. with a bid of $213,877.00.
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton,
<br />that the bid of Northwest Asphalt, Inc. in the amount of $2l3,8Z7 be ordered.
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Counci 1 of the Ci ty of New Sri ghton, MN:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
<br />the attached contract with Northwest Asphalt Inc., inthe name of the
<br />City of New Brighton for Improvement Projects 82-6 and 82-10.
<br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
<br />all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
<br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
<br />until a contract has been signed.
