CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2542 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING ,DEVELOP- MENT DISTRICT NO. 1 PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS 412A.01 TO 472A.13, INCLUSIVE, AS AMENDED, AND MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS 213.11 TO 273.78, INCLUSIVE, AS AMENDED, AND ESTABLISHING TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO.1, TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 AND TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 3 PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS 273.71 TO 273.78, INCLUSIVE, AS AMENDED AND ADOPTING AND APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND FINANCE PLANS FOR SAID DEVELOPMENT DIS- TRICT AND TAX INCREMENT DISTRICTS. BE IT RESOLVED by the C~ty Council the City of New Brighton, Minnesota follows: (the (the "Council") "City"), of as Section 1. Recitals. 1.01. It has been proposed that the City amend its present development plan and enlarge its present development district, established August 11, 1981, and establish an enlarged development district within the corporate limits of the City and approve tax increment financing districts and a tax increment financing plan with respect thereto, all pur- suant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 412A, as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 273.71 to 273.78, inclusive, as amended. This Council has investigated the facts and has caused to be prepared a proposed amended Development Plan and Program for the Development Distr ict (the "Development Plan"), defining more precisely the property to be included in the Development District and describing the action to be undertaken by the City to aid the development of the Development District, and has caused to be prepared proposed amended Tax Increm'ent Financing Plans (the "Financing Plans"), defining more precisely the property to be included in the tax increment financing districts (the "Tax Increment Districts") and other matters relating thereto. 1.03. The City has performed all actions required by law to be per formed pr ior to the establishment of the De- velopment District, the Tax Increment Districts and the /'1.__--/
