<br />... <br /> <br />"!, <br /> <br />"" <br /> <br />,I', <br />II <br />~ j <br />!' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 2321 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE PERMIT, SP-78 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, An application for an amendment to special use <br />permit, SP-78 has been made by RCE Corporation to amend the <br />sign plan for the Rice Creek Center~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for an amendment to special use <br />permit, SP-78 was filed with the City of New Brighton <br />on February 15, 1980. <br /> <br />2. That such application was reviewed by the New Brighton <br />Planning Commission Board of Review on February 19, <br />1980, March 18, 1980 and April 15, 1980. <br /> <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed I <br />notices, held a public hearing on March 11, 1980, <br />March 25, 1980 and April 22. 1980, all person's <br />present at the hearing were given an opportunity to <br />be heard. <br /> <br />4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, <br />the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations <br />were considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. That the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to <br />amending SP-78: <br /> <br />1. The directory sign would provide more effective <br />identification of arcade tenants; <br /> <br />2. That the directory sign would reduce clutter and will <br />not interfere with the architectural features of the <br />building; <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />3. That the proposed directory sign would be consistent <br />with the general purposes of SP-78 and the sign <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application for an <br />amendment to SP-78 is and hereby approved subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the following items of the sign plan approved <br />on October 25, 1977 be amended under Section "Tenants <br />With Arcade Frontage" to read: <br />
