<br />The Village Council of the Village of New Brighton does,hereb
<br />ordain:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. The 1966 Ordinance Code of the Village of New
<br />Brighton is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 35,0 entitled
<br />Offenses Relating to Narcotics ~arid Drugs, which shall read as
<br />follows:

<br />SECTION 350:00 DEFINITIONS

<br />Subd. 1. words, terms, andphra13es. Unless the language or
<br />I cOntext clearly indicates that a different meaning is intended,
<br />U the following words, terms, and phrases, for the purposes of this
<br />'II ordinance, shall be given the meanings subjoined to' them.

<br />
<br />Subd., 2. Persons. "Persons" include any corporatiqIl,
<br />association, co-partnership, or i1pyone or more individuals.
<br />
<br />Subd. 3.. The words "physician,""dentist," "veterinarian,"
<br />"manufacturer ,""wholesale," II apothecary," "hospita 1, "and
<br />"laboratory" are herewith definedpUrs'\1ant to the terms of
<br />Minnesota statutes 618.01,Subdivis,ion 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and
<br />10.

<br />Subd. 4. Narcotic Dru~s. F'orpurposes of this ordinance
<br />"narcotic drugs" shall mean coca leaves, opium, cannabis '
<br />(marijuana and hashish), isonipecaine, atnidone, isoamidone,
<br />ketobemidone, as more fully defin.ed in Minnesota Statutes 618.01
<br />Subdivisions 15, 20, 21, 22, and 2d~1and shall include all
<br />'~ depressants , stimulants, halluc:4t99~nsincluding LSDbywhatever
<br />trade name they are known, andeveiyother substanc.e. nei~her
<br />chemically nor physically distinguishable from them; any other
<br />drugs to which the Federal Narcotics Law may now applyrand any
<br />other drug which is hereafter inclUded ,under the Federal Narcotic
<br />Law and found by the State Board.Qf Health after reasonable notic
<br />and opportunity for hearing, to have an addiction-forming or.
<br />. addiction-sustaining liabilitysiInilar to morphine otcocaine,
<br />from the effective date of determination of such finding of said
<br />state Board of Health.
