The site is located at 219 and 321 Old Highway 8 NW
and is zoned R-3B, Multiple Family Residential. The existing 22 unit apartment building
is proposed to be split off and has site non-conformities. The single family home to the
south of the site (321 Old Highway 8)would be demolished and that lot would be
consolidated with the remaining lot to the north for new construction. The new
construction site is proposed to have an underground parking stall and be a mix of two or
three bedroom units.
A full formal application review of a Type 4 Non-conforming Use Permit has just been
recommended for approval to the council with conditions. Mr. Boylan briefly reviewed
the site plan. There was considerable discussion regarding the conditions and other
elements of the application.
Motion by Baker, Second by Zisla toi
6 Ayes, 0 Nays,1111
Motion by Howard, Second by Schiferl tom
1.
