In an effort to become more efficient with their property,the Mounds View <br /> School District has been moving to consolidate various activities into Pike Lake School. The <br /> District is proposing to have adult education,early childhood education,and the Ralph Reeder <br /> food shelf use within the building. <br /> The property is zoned R-1,Single Family Residential and"Food Shelf'is not a listed permitted <br /> or special use in the zone. The Council can consider other uses not listed and the procedure is <br /> that of a special use permit with a public hearing at the Planning Commission. <br /> FINDINGS <br /> • Section 8-130,Special Use Permit <br /> PAST ACTION <br /> • March 28,2000-Approval of a Special Use Permit to expand existing building. <br /> SITE CHARACTERISTICS <br /> 1.
