The purpose of <br />the request is to bring the site into compliance with the conclusion of the moratorium placed on multi-family residential <br />development. There is currently an apartment building that sits on this site. There is a single family residence that sits here <br />that is used for business purpose as an appraisal office. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />CLOSE THE HEARING <br />Motion by seconded by Schiferl to . 6 Ayes – 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br />Schopf <br /> <br />Commissioners inquired of the City Planner if there had been any communication with the owner or adjacent property <br />owners. Mr. Boylan stated there had only been some clarification type discussions and no formal objections or protests. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE R01-01 REZONING FROM R-3A TO R-3B. <br />Motion byseconded by to Motion <br />Schopf <br />Carried 6 Ayes- 0 Nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing: LO01-08, SP01-08, VN01-04, Site Plan Review and Special Use Permit-Irondale High School <br /> <br />Consideration of an application for a site plan review and special use permit to construct an addition to Irondale High School <br />and expand/reconfigure parking areas. <br /> <br />The proposed additions consist of a new entryway, remodeled classrooms, an expanded gym which will seat 2,000 people <br />and expansion of the cafeteria. The existing parking lot will also be reconfigured and will include a “drop-off” area on the <br />west side of the building with expanded parking facilities also.
