WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT THE <br />Motion by Zisla, Second by O’Brien, to <br />ATTACHED RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL <br />of the Non- <br />NC-02-004 AND LP02-011 <br />conforming Use Permit and Site Plan subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Approval of a permit by the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> <br />2.The right-of-way vacation approved by the City of New Brighton in 1995, <br />shall be recorded with Ramsey County and appropriate documentation <br />submitted to the City prior to a final certificate of occupancy is granted. <br /> <br />3.The applicant shall work with City staff to modify the landscape plan to <br />accommodate snow storage issues. <br /> <br />4 Ayes, 0 Nays. Motion Carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING: SP 03-02 Special Use Permit for Main Street Village – Sign <br />Plans – Pratt Ordway Properties, LP <br />Consideration of a Special Use Permit application for building and project site signs for <br />the Main Street Village project, a ten acre site generally located north of County Road E2 <br />th <br />Extension and west of 5 Avenue NW. <br /> <br />The applicant received a Special Use Permit approval May 22, 2001. At that time the <br />Council approved the Special Use with the condition that “any future change to the plan <br />shall be submitted under special use permit procedure and when adopted shall become <br />part of that Plan” (Resolution 01-044). Pratt Ordway Properties wishes to alter the <br />approved Sign Plan for the Main Street Village Project and therefore requires a public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Boylan reviewed the Findings, Past Action, Site Background and Sign Plan for the <br />Commissioners. A representative from Pratt Ordway Properties also spoke to the project. <br /> <br />CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />Motion by Baker, Second by Schiferl to <br />4 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT THE <br />Motion by Zisla, Second by O’Brien to <br />ATTACHED RESOLUTION, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SP03-002, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />1.The plan shall constitute the permitted signs for that area. Any future change <br />to the plan shall be submitted under special use permit procedure and when <br />adopted shall become part of that plan. <br /> <br />2.The applicant shall submit scaled elevation drawings illustrating proposed <br />changes for Tenant Panels to be approved by City Staff. <br />th <br />3. “Gateway” sign complexes proposed at 5 Avenue NW & County Road E2 and <br />thth <br />5 Avenue NW and 6 Street shall have a separate approval process. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
