Planning Commission and reviewed the Site Plan. He described the outside as well as the <br />inside of the project. Mr. Nelson described plan to extend the fire lane. He also <br />described the units as the smallest being 1,000 sq. ft. one bedroom unit, the largest being <br />2,000 sq. ft. two bedroom unit and the majority being two bedroom units in the 1400 to <br />1700 sq. ft. range. He believes these to be consistent with the anticipated market. Mr. <br />Nelson mentioned discussions they are having with the neighbor to accommodate that <br />development. <br /> <br />Mr. Boylan said he has had conversations with Ramsey County Park and Recreation that <br />it is the long-range plan to connect trails whenever possible. He noted the applicant has <br />been agreeable to providing an easement for the future trail along the lake border of the <br />property. Applicant says he can add the easement to the plat. <br /> <br />There is consideration of splitting off a portion of this site to be joined with the Hubcap <br />Warehouse for a new building for that site. <br /> <br />Ron Buchanan, architect, described the location and workings of the proposed rain <br />garden on the plan. <br /> <br />Larry Holmberg, of Ramsey County Park and Recreation Department, not speaking on <br />behalf of the county, feels the development is very compatible with Long Lake Regional <br />Park.
