<br /> NotNotApproved ApprovedApproved <br />they have a few lots that are not in compliance, but as the homes are changed out, they <br />are bringing them up to code. <br />The Commission recommended that the code should read: <br /> <br />1)There shall be a minimum distance of five feet between the mobile home and the <br />front or private street line of the unit. <br /> <br />2)There shall be not less than 25 feet of space between mobile homes in two <br />directions and 10 feet of space in two directions as measured in a perpendicular <br />line as to the façade of the home. The long side of two adjacent homes shall not <br />be closer than 25 feet. <br /> <br />3)Each unit shall abut on and have access to a private street which shall be: At least <br />twenty-five feet wide between gutters. <br />The Commission also recommended that the code for roads include a section regarding <br />one way streets and that section 16.49 be changed to read: Streets should be 40 feet wide, <br />but may be reduced to 25 feet if restricted to one way driving. Mr. Boylan will verify <br />with the City Engineer regarding the width of the cities roads that allow parking on both <br />sides of the street. <br />Mr. Jim Munsey, Brooklyn Park, approached the Commission and expressed his concern <br />with any further delays. He and his wife have sold their home and are awaiting the <br />approval of the code changes, so that they can park their trailer and move in. <br />Ms. Aplikowski extended an invitation to the Commission to tour Lakeside Homes at <br />anytime. Mr. Boylan added that Lakeside Homes should be a model for any future <br />mobile home parks that come into the city <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates: <br />Mr. Baker asked that the Commission be provided with <br />a copy of the City Code book.
