<br />Approved <br /> <br />a.The 43,000 s.f. building is limited to wall signs on the north, south and west elevations of an area <br />needed to accommodate LA Fitness’s prototype, as represented by the developer. No wall signs <br />shall be permitted on the rear/east elevation of the building. <br /> <br />b.The 14,400 s.f. building cannot display any wall signage on the north or east elevation (side and <br />rear respectively). The square footages noted on the plan provided are acceptable for the south and <br />west elevations. <br /> <br />c.Any changes to the approved Comprehensive Sign Plan must be reviewed and approved by the <br />Planning Commission and Council through the Special Use Permit process. <br /> <br />7.A sidewalk is constructed on the south side of Palmer Drive from the intersection at Silver Lake Road <br />east to the development entrance off Palmer Drive. <br /> <br />Motion Approved. <br />5 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Formal Recommendation <br />: Recommendation by Zisla, second by O’Brien, the Planning Commission <br />recommends that the Council adopt a comprehensive sidewalk plan for the area, fund, and implement it. <br /> <br />Mann stated that Council just received funds to improve the 694 accesses it would be nice to see some of the <br />funds used to improve that whole corridor. Howard asked if the recommendation would come back to the <br />Commission at some point. Gundlach replied that it may not come back before the Commission as a formal <br />presentation, but staff will update you with any results. <br /> <br />5 ayes, 0 nays. Recommendation <br /> Approved. <br /> <br /> <br />Baker stated that he had never heard of the Walkable Communities Workshop and he feels that the Commission <br />should have been made aware of it before now.
