Resolution 07-070. to allow site plan <br /> modifications for the ar <br /> known as Tract 1 <br /> City Planner, Janice Gundlach presented the amendment changes for including a chanKc in <br /> Track 1 in the Long Lakes Landings. She explained that the changes are housing types and a <br /> required after eo--technical issues were discovered in the northwestern reduction in total units. <br /> g Report No. 07-160. <br /> corner of the site. The revised site plan includes 519 units, down from 674 Resolution 07-070, <br /> units in the pervious plan. <br /> Council Member Hoffman questioned if the infrastructure would need to be <br /> modified for this new plan. Gundlach replied that the landscape plan and <br /> lighting would remain the same, with some modification of the main road. <br /> Teresa Greenfield, Land Director for Rottlund Homes and David Bernard <br /> Builders, gave an overview of where the town homes and condominiums <br /> will be located in Tract 1. She added that the ratio of the condos/town <br /> homes is similar to the last proposal. Council Member Doffing inquired to <br /> what product would work best for a handicapped citizen. Greenfield <br /> replied that the condos, the Grandview, or executive town home would be <br /> the better product for someone with a handicap. <br /> Bauman asked why the homes that were eliminated were chosen and why <br /> were the new products added. Greenfield replied after looking at the <br /> market place, they wanted to offer a product that could meet a variety of <br /> needs. Bauman asked how the sales for the condominiums been <br /> proceeding. Greenfield replied that since this Spring there has been <br /> increase in purchase agreements with 15 to 18 units sold. She added that <br /> they would like to start construction late this fall; if the pre-sold numbers <br /> are not met then construction would begin in the spring. She added that <br /> there have been a large number of people looking for a town home and are <br /> hoping to start on the town homes this fall. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Doffing, seconded by Councilmember Burg to waive the <br /> reading and adopt the attached resolution. <br /> S Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br /> <br /> 6.
