Council Member Bauman expressed concern Development. Report Nc <br /> that the building is being constructed only for the Post Office and that there 07-1.67, Resolution 07-071 <br /> are no other tenants for the remaining spaces. <br /> Council Member Doffing stated that she had heard that after 9 / 11 that the <br /> Post Office retail buildings needed to be a stand--alone site and questioned <br /> when that changed. Ordway replied that the U.S. Postal Service has not <br /> stated it requires a stand alone building, but will require a safety wall on <br /> the side that is shared with the other tenant. <br /> Council Member Doffing questioned how the developer will be handling the <br /> speeding issue within the development. Ordway replied the first he had <br /> heard of the issue was at the Planning Commission, but they will monitor it <br /> and determine what needs to be done to solve the problem. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Hoffman, seconded by Councilmember Burg to waive the <br /> reading and adopt the attached resolution. <br /> <br /> 5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br /> <br /> 7. SP2007-005, Timbereraft Enterprises, Inc., 715 Old Highway 8 <br /> NW, consideration of a Special Use Permit in order to amend a <br /> previously approved General Development Plan to allow <br /> construction of a 2,778 s.f. 2nd story to be used exclusively for 7 SP2007-007, <br /> storage purposes.
