Approved <br />&otion by Schiferl, second by Zisla for APPROVAL OF SP2007-006, PUD2007-006, LP2007-007 WITH THE <br />LLOWING FOUR CONDITIONS: <br />1. The Comprehensive Sign Plan for Main Street Village is amended to include the signs proposed for <br />this building, most notably allowance for the monument style sign proposed along 5i" Avenue NW. <br />2. Any forthcoming recommendations of the City Forester with regard to the Landscape Plan. <br />3. The applicant will amend the site plan as needed to ensure that there is adequate enclosed space for <br />separate management for paper and food and beverage containers for recycling. <br />4. The applicant will assure to the satisfaction of the City Staff that the traffic generation for the entire <br />development can be adequately managed on neighboring roads. <br />Baker stated that he is concerned that the condition of allowing adequate space for recycling is too harsh, <br />since the developer has stated that the commercial waste contractors have reported that they are separating <br />out the recyclable containers on site. Schiferl replied that he still wants to make sure that there is adequate <br />space for recycling. Ordway added that there is adequate space, but they have trouble getting someone to <br />collect it. Schiferl stated that he wants to make sure that there is adequate space for recycling, even if it is <br />not being collected separately now. <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. Motion Carried. <br />Onounccmcnts and Updates <br />Gundlach announced that the Council has approved a technical review of the Comprehensive Plan and a task <br />force will not be created to do the review. Schiferl asked if the Active Living Component of the Plan would be <br />reviewed by Parks and Recreation Commission. Gundlach replied that her understanding is that the Park <br />Department's Strategic Plan will be made part of the Plan.
