The position encompasses a number of different responsibilities, including <br /> housing inspections, general code enforcement, recycling, pools, restaurants and pools. Some of <br /> these responsibilities, particularly packaged food, restaurants and pools, require a licensed <br /> sanitarian. In looking at the job market and the salary requirements needed to attract someone <br /> with this type of credential, staff made the decision to transfer these functions back to the State <br />
