August 28, 1979 <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />the reading and adopt the RESOLUTION I,AKING FINDINGS <br />OF FACT AND DENYING VARIANCE APPLICATION W-207. <br />4 ayes - 1 abstention (Werdouschegg)."- motion carried <br />Councilmember Werdouschegg stated for the record <br />he abstained because he is a neighboring property <br />owner. <br />Council Business <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Senden ORDINANCE No. 4?-:: <br />to waive the reading, hold the second reading <br />and adopt and order publication of an.ordinance <br />entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />ZONING ORDINANCE BY.REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON FROM R-1, <br />SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL AND R-2, TWO FAMILY <br />RESIDENTIAL.TO B-1, LIMITED BUSINESS (generally <br />north of I-694 frontage road and west of 27th <br />Avenue NW). ' <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes motion carried <br />After discussing the proposed land Hansen Park - <br />donation the Council acted in the Land Donation <br />following manner: Report No. 79-462 <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg <br />to direct staff to communicate to the <br />potential donor that the City is declining <br />the offer. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Werdouschegg Proposed Ordinar.--= <br />to direct staff to prepare a study and Amendment - Food <br />draft ordinance changes which will identify Code <br />warehouse operations separately from consumption <br />operations for the purposes of inspection. <br />These changes to be submitted to the City <br />Council for consideration at the October <br />23, 1979 meeting. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Mr. Lars Lidberg, 157 Windsor Court, Final Plan PRD =:9 <br />representing Windsor Green ASsociation - Final Plat PL-11. <br />was present to answer questions. Supplement to <br />Report NO.79-441 <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Janecek <br />to approve the final plan for PRD #29 which amends <br />PRD #2 Windsor Green and final plat PL-119 <br />contingent on: <br />1. That the final drainage plans are subject to <br />approval by City Engineer. <br />.
