Council Proceedings <br />Special Meeting <br />a Proposed Comprehensive Plan <br />November 9, 1978 <br />Page #3 <br />Sue Brussman, League of Women Voters, reported that her organiza- <br />tion reviewed the plan and basically felt that the plan was well <br />done and would serve the needs of the community. However, the <br />League was concerned that the City will not strive to attain the <br />- ?..?.? AnA moderate units allocated-by-the Metropolitan Council. <br />Mayor Senden reported that the City was presently re-examining <br />the housing section of the proposed plan in rggard to the figures <br />for low and moderate units. <br />Gordon Hedlund discussed property located south of 10th Street <br />and east of 10th Avenue with the Council. He noted soil problems <br />of the land and requested that the zoning be changed to a slightly <br />higher density. <br />- Mayor Senden directed the Planning Commission to review Hedlund's <br />request for a zoning change. <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Werdouschegg,'to continue the public <br />hearing on the proposed comprehensive plan to December 12, 1978 at <br />7:00 P.M. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - Motion Carried <br />ATTEST: APPROVED: <br />A?, _j LOA-4 <br />Vernon C.
