a� <br />CITY OF ROSEVILL? 11101-7- <br />' AN ORDINAN(' E NO. <br />i <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 87.070 TO THE CITY CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE PROHIBITING NON -HANDICAPPED PERSONS <br />FROM PARKING IN SPACES DESIGNATED FOR THE HANDICAPPED. <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville does hereby <br />ordain <br />I. <br />"87.070. Handicapped Parking. <br />(1) No person shall park a motor_ vehicle in .a <br />parking space designated and reserved for the <br />physically handicapped, on either private or <br />public property, unless: <br />(a) That person is physically handicapped <br />in a manner rendering it difficult and <br />burdensome for such person to walk or such <br />person was operating the vehicle under the <br />direction of such a physically handicapped <br />person, and <br />(b) The vehicle visibly bears or contains <br />the certificate or insignia issued to <br />physically handicapped_ persons by the <br />Minnesota Department of Public Safety pur- <br />suant to Minn. Stat: §169.345, subd. 2. <br />(2) Notice of such designation of handicapped parking <br />spaces shall be given by the posting of signs designated <br />in accordance with the requirements of the Manual of <br />the Commissioner of Public Safety on Uniform Traffic <br />Control Devices and the location, number and method <br />of sinning of succi Space's is fir L- approved by ti e <br />ChiefofPolice. <br />(3) A violation of this Section shall constitute <br />a petty misdemeanor. Vehicles in violation Y.�tay be <br />removed, impounded, and kept in custody under the <br />direction of the Chief of Police. <br />
