Council Proceedings �2 <br />City of New Brighton <br />Jan 25, 1977 <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Hardt to defer action on <br />the resolution to subdivide property until such time as <br />the above noted agreement is drawn, entered into on the <br />part of the applicants and approved by the City Attorney. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Unfinished Business <br />The Planner reviewed the administrative report <br />relative to Clark Pharmacy. <br />Mark Clark, representing the applicant, raised <br />questions regarding the following items of the SP -75 <br />sign plan resolution. Clark <br />1. He questioned the lowering of the Clark Pharmacy <br />Pharmacy sign 18 inches rather than 14 inches; <br />2. He would prefer in Item 3, to see the Brighton <br />Cleaners sign of the same size as Clark <br />Pharmacy sign; <br />3. He suggested that Item 8 be scratched; <br />4. He suggested that the lowering of the Clark <br />Pharmacy sign be done in conjunction with the <br />construction of the canopy. <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Hardt to waive reading <br />of the resolution and adopt resolution entitled <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING <br />APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. 75 with the following <br />amendments: <br />1. That Item 1 be amended to provide that the <br />Clark Pharmacy sign be remounted on the canopy <br />face so that the top of the sign is no higher <br />than the bottom of the windows on the second <br />story; <br />2. To amend Item 8 by deleting the word "style" and <br />provide that lettering shall be of essentially <br />the same size; <br />3. Item No. 13 be amended by referring to <br />Paragraph 9 only; <br />4. That Item 3 be amended by permitting Brighton <br />Cleaners to have a sign up to 48 inches by 16 feet. <br />M <br />
