[1 n Council Proceedings City of New Brighton Dec. 28,1976 Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to waive reading of resolution and to adopt resolution entitled RESOLUTION RECEIVING CITY DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS PRELIMINARY STUDY AND REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 77-4, 5, 6, AND ALTERNATE 2 IMPROVEMENT 77-7 AND ORDERING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING 5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried Ordinances and Resolutions Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to waive reading of ordinance and to hold second reading,adoption and publication of an ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 245 OF THE 1966 CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO THE ADVISORY PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1822 Impr hearing Jan 11-7 pm ORDINANCE NO. 378 Motion by Bromander, seconded by Senden to amend ordinance by: Section 245:05, Subd 1, 4th Sentence, revise as follows: "The term of a Planning Commission members shall automatically terminate when the member is no longer a resident of the City." Section 245:10, Subd. 2;p, revise as follows: "The Board of the Whole shall meet each January prior to the January Board of Planning and Board of Review meetings and whenever a meeting of the Board of the Whole is requested by the Council." Subd. 2b, revise as follows: "The Planning Commission chairperson shall serve as the chairperson of the Board of the Whole." Section 245:15 Delete Paragraph (d) Section 245:20 Delete Paragraph (c) Section 2 Renumber to Section 3 Add new Section 2: "Each member of the Planning Commission serving prior to the effective date of this ordinance shall become members of the Planning Commission as provided for in this ordinance with terms to expire at the same time as the terms for which they were appointed prior to the effective date of this ordinance."
