Council Proceedings 9 City of New Brighton Dec. 28,1976 Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to separate the questions 5 ayes - ,-0 nayes- carried Section 245:05, Subd 1, 4th sentence,revise as follows: "The term of a Planning Commission member shall automatically terminate when the member is no longer a,resident of the City." 5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried Section 245:10, Subd. 2, revise as follows: "The Board of the Whole shall meet each,January prior to_the.January Board of Planning and Board of Review meetings and whenever a meeting of the Board of the Whole is requested by the Council." 5 ayes - 0 nayes carried Subd. 2b, revise as follows "The Planning Commission chairperson shall serve as the chairperson of the Board of the Whole." 5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried Section 245:15 Delete Paragraph (d) 2 ayes - 3 nayes - (Fisher, Hardt,: Werdouschegg),— failed Section 245.20 Delete Paragraph (c) 2 ayes - 3 nayes - (Fisher, Hardt, Werdouschegg) - failed Section 2, renumbered to Section 3, Add new Section 2: "Each member of the Planning Commission serving prior to the effective date of this ordinance 'shall become members of the Planning Commission as provided for in this ordinance with.terms.to expire at the same time as the terms for which they were appointed prior to the effective date of this ordinance." 5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded'by Fisher to amend Section 245:30 to read as follows! "From time to time the Planning Commission chairperson may be directed by.the Council to report to it at a Council meeting.
