Council Proceedings 2 <br />City of New Brighton /fir <br />Jan. 19,1977 <br />an item may be removed from the consent agenda by the <br />request of any councilmember with no debate, such item <br />to be considered at the end of council business. <br />4 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to direct <br />administration to draft amendment to Resolution No. 350 <br />to provide that the Mayor or chairperson may receive reports, <br />letters, petitions, etc., by directing that they be placed <br />in the record with consent of the Council and if any <br />councilmember objects, then receipt must be voted upon by <br />the Council. <br />4 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to direct <br />administration to draft amendment to Resolution No. 350 <br />to provide that regular meetings commence at 7:30 p.m. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Hardt, to direct administration to prepare <br />a calendar for special meetings for •1977, such calendar to <br />include: <br />1. January - Special Meetings on Meetings and Agendas <br />and HRA <br />2. February - Joint Meeting, Planning Commission <br />3. April - Review of HRA Plan <br />4. Play, June, July, - Consideration of Comprehensive <br />Plan <br />5. September - Operating Budget Hearing <br />6. December- Public Improvement Hearings <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Senden to direct <br />administration to place the amended draft of Resolution <br />No. 350 on the agenda for February 8, 1977. <br />4 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Mayor Bromander declared a 5-minute recess. <br />Council reconvened at 8:42. <br />Mayor Bromander stated that the next agenda item was to <br />consider a presentation from Richard Daniels, chairman <br />of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, relative to <br />the proposed redevelopment plan, but was not intended as <br />a public hearing. <br />
