Council Proceedings <br />City of New Brighton <br />Nov. 23, 1976 <br />3. Change Item 2 (c) from March 1, 1976 to March 1, 1977 <br />and that some words be changed so as to give the company certain <br />rights in the selection of testing firms. <br />4. Amend Item 3,line 12-15, to read "Operation at the rendering <br />plants, these facilities shall be cleaned by <br />the rendering plants and the cost of this work shall" to <br />"Operation at the rendering plants, the cost of cleaning <br />shall" <br />11 <br />and to direct administration to report on the proposed Defer to <br />changes contained in the motion and contained in Dec.14 <br />Mr. Johnson's suggestions and to defer action on resolution <br />to Dec. 14 council meeting.' <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes— carried <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to receive <br />administrative report dated Nov. 18, 1976 re: offensive trades <br />license, Gordon Rendering Company. <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />The Building and Planning Coordinator reviewed his <br />report. <br />Mr. Gerald Letters was present to respond to Council Offensive <br />questions. Trades <br />The Council inquired of Mr. Letters if there would be <br />any problems in deferring action on his request so that Gordon <br />the Council and he would have opportunity to consider Deferred- to <br />several changes suggested as to the other rendering Dec. 14 <br />plants offensive trades license. Mr. Letters responded <br />that deferral was acceptable. <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Hardt to defer <br />action to December 14 Council meeting. <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to approve the <br />following licenses: Licenses <br />Phillip Bodine Christmas Tree <br />Brighton Funeral Home Undertaking <br />Tom Walcyn(Pletschers) Christmas Tree <br />B & K Builders General <br />Hanks Excavating Excavating <br />Dairy Queen (Old 8) Christmas Tree <br />Superamerica 3.2 beer off -sale, cigarettes, <br />soft drinks, gas pump <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Senden to approve Consolidated <br />consolidated fund vouchers 22,252 through 22,349. Fund <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />
