<br /> <br /> r <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> • Minimum 10 years of service: An employee who leaves the organization in good standing with a <br /> minimum of ten (10) years of service with the City, is only eligible for 40% of accrued sick leave (up to <br /> 384) hours to be provided as cash payout unless the employee elected to contribute their sick leave <br /> severance to the RHS plan. <br /> <br /> Sec. 21-69 Post Retirement Health Saving Plan. <br /> <br /> Regular employees and regular part-time employees are eligible to participate in the City's Retirement <br /> Health Savings Plan. Employees must elect into the plan at the time of hire or during the benefits open <br /> enrollment period for the next calendar year. Employees have the option of contributing sick leave <br /> severance benefits into a City selected post retirement health care savings plan, see Sec. 21-67 (8) and/or <br /> 1 % of annual base wage. The Employer provides for a one time irrevocable election by the eligible <br /> employees to participate in the plan. Until such time that the election is made, the employee shall not <br /> participate in the plan. <br /> Proposed Language- <br /> <br /> Sec. 21-67. Sick Leave (Subd 8). <br /> (8) Severance: Minimum 20 years of service: An employee who leaves the organization in good <br /> standing with a minimum of twenty (20) years of service with the City, (50%) of their accrued sick leave <br /> (up to 480 hours) will be placed in the employee's post retirement health savings plan (RHS), subject to <br /> provisions of the RHS plan. <br /> Minimum 10 years of service: An employee who leaves the organization in good standing with a <br /> • minimum of ten (10) years of service with the City, (40%) of their accrued sick leave will be placed in the <br /> employee's post retirement health savings plan (RHS), subject to provisions of the RHS plan. <br /> <br /> Sec. 21-69 Post Retirement Health Saving Plan. <br /> Regular employees and regular part-time employees are eligible to participate in the City's Retirement <br /> Health Savings Plan.
