<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> • ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE RELATING TO <br /> SECTION 21-67 (Subd. 8) AND SECTION 21-69 <br /> <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS as follows: <br /> <br /> The Following New Brighton City Codes will be amended as follows: <br /> <br /> Sec. 21-67. Sick Leave (Subd 8). <br /> (8) Severance: Minimum 20 years of service: An employee who leaves the organization in <br /> good standing with a minimum of twenty (20) years of service with the City, (50%) of their <br /> accrued sick leave (up to 480 hours) will be placed in the employee's post retirement health <br /> savings plan (RHS), subject to provisions of the RHS plan. <br /> <br /> Minimum 10 years of service: An employee who leaves the organization in good standing with a <br /> • minimum of ten (10) years of service with the City, (40%) of their accrued sick leave will be <br /> placed in the employee's post retirement health savings plan (RHS), subject to provisions of the <br /> RHS plan. <br /> <br /> Sec. 21-69 Post Retirement Health Saving Plan. <br /> Regular employees and regular part-time employees are eligible to participate in the City's <br /> Retirement Health Savings Plan. Employees are required to contribute their sick leave severance <br /> benefits into a City selected post retirement health care savings plan, see Sec. 21-67 (8). <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 27th day of November, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> Steve Larson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Dean Lotter, City Manager <br />
