Sec. <br />Multiple Occupancy Buildings (Other Than Areas of Special Control). <br />(1) +Itiple occupancy buildings not displaying any wall signs, except for nameplates per Section 9-040 <br />(3), y have a single ground sign listing the building tenants, or comply with the requirements of <br />SeC4s 9-110 (2) and (3). <br />(2) B ilding having multiple occupancy with individual entrances: When a building contains two or more <br />acti es carried on by different occupants, each having a separate entrance, each occupant may display <br />an in Iv'dual wall sign containing a maximum of five words and/or numbers. However, the combined <br />area all wall signs shall not exceed the allowable percentage of the total selected signable area allowed. <br />Indiv i lual building tenants shall not be identified by an electronic readerboard sign. Wall signs must be <br />place within the selected signable area. Such buildings may be identified by a single ground sign only, <br />displ ing the name of the building only, except when the ground sign is an electronic readerboard. Such <br />groui & sign shall conform to all applicable size, height, and setback requirements. <br />(3) <br />the <br />ildings having multiple occupancy with shared entrances and buildings with both individual and <br />entrances: Such joint occupancy buildings may be identified by a single ground or wall sign in <br />mance with all applicable size, height and setback requirements. Such sign may display name of <br />ig only or name and address of building, and nameplates for individual tenants in accordance with <br />;call sign area and height requirements, except that the identifying ground or wall sign may be an <br />nic readerboard sign.
