We are proposing to televise
approximately 111,000 feet of sanitary sewer in 2008.
The following quotations for the televising inspections were received:
The sanitary sewer televising is an annual ongoing program to find and correct potential
problems; such as, broken tile and root growth that can cause sewer backups if gone undetected
and groundwater infiltration that can result in high Metropolitan sewer charges.
Funding:
This work will be funded from the sewer budget for the maintenance of equipment, buildings,
•grounds, and emergency repairs for the sanitary sewer system.
A `L a (&&
Dave Olson
Public Works Superintendent
I.ICOLWCILV PORMWSTublic Works\5-13-082008 Televising Co it Re n.dm
TV Inspection
Cost based on
Quote per foot
111,000 feet
Hydro Vac Inc
$0.450
$49,950
Infratech Technologies, Inc
$0.480
$53,280
Midwest Trenchless Technologies
$0.349
$38,739
Pipe Services Corporation
$0.380
$42,180
Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, Inc
$0.400
$44,400
The sanitary sewer televising is an annual ongoing program to find and correct potential
problems; such as, broken tile and root growth that can cause sewer backups if gone undetected
and groundwater infiltration that can result in high Metropolitan sewer charges.
Funding:
This work will be funded from the sewer budget for the maintenance of equipment, buildings,
•grounds, and emergency repairs for the sanitary sewer system.
A `L a (&&
Dave Olson
Public Works Superintendent
I.ICOLWCILV PORMWSTublic Works\5-13-082008 Televising Co it Re n.dm
