0 <br />May 27, 2008 Page 7 of 7 <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates: <br />Dean Lotter <br />Nothing to report <br />Coundintember Doffing -Public Safety Commission <br />Absent <br />Councibnember Phillips-Pla►ming Commission <br />Councilmember Phillips was unable to attend a majority of the May Planning Commission meeting, due <br />to a Special Council meeting with four prospective developers for the Northwest Quadrant The next <br />Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for June 17s' <br />Councilmember Bauman -Park. Recreation & Environmental Commission <br />The New Brighton Parks and Recreation Department was selected to be part of a pilot program called <br />"Safe Routes to School." There will be an event highlighting the program Thursday, June 5, at 9:00 am at <br />Bel Air Elementary School. The Family Service Center will host tbrce all night Senior High School <br />parties. The next Park, Recreation & Environmental Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, <br />June e, with the Trails Committee meeting preceding at 5:30 pm. <br />. Councilmember Burg -Economic Development Comrnission <br />Councilmember Burg reported the next Economic Development Commission meeting is scheduled for <br />June 3, at 7:00 am, this meeting will be televised.
