Director of Community Development Grant Femehus gave abrief <br />presentation of the item, outlining some of the details. The net present value of all three districts was <br />reported as $10 million This item was described as permissive legislation, giving the City filture <br />options if chosen <br />Councilmember Doffing clarified that the approval ofthe legislation tax increment financing for <br />districts 9, 20, 26, 31 and 32 does not obligate the City to use these fluids for the Northwest Quadrant. <br />Additionally Councilmember Doffing stated she feels its unfortunate the City is in this position; <br />however she has supported this legislation stating that in the circumstances, this is the most prudent <br />approach.
