<br />~ ---- ~- <br /> ----- ..-.-.-.-. .-- <br /> ------- -'-~ ... <br />. ., , ,II ..-- ~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1466 <br />, , , <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT SP-58 TO UNITED THEOLOGICAL <br /> SEMINARY <br /> WHEREAS Ordinance No. 122 of the City of New Brighton grante1 <br /> a special use permit to the United Theological Seminary to <br /> construct and maintain a theological seminary on lands now <br /> described as Tracts A, B. C, D, and ~ of Registered Land Survey <br /> Number 214, Ramsey coUnty Minnesota, and <br /> WHEREAS The United Theological Seminary has applied for <br /> modification of such special use permit to allow the sale of <br /> Tract E, Registered Land Survey Number 214, for development into <br /> single family detached residences, and <br /> WHEREAS Keith T. Harstad, the proposed buyer and developer, <br /> has submitted em application for approval of a preliminary plat <br /> of Tract E, known as PL--95 II Innsbruck East, II and <br /> WHEREAS the applications SP-58 and PL-95 were referred to the <br /> Planning commission and on. October 15, 1974, the Planning <br /> Commission recommended approval of both applications subject to <br /> certain conditions, and <br /> WHEREAS Public hearings were held on the above described <br /> applications on November 12 and 28 and pecember 10, 1974 at which <br /> time all persons interested were given an opportunity to be <br /> heard <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the New Brighton City Council <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. Findinqs of Fact. <br /> A. That the proposed development of Tract E, <br /> registered Land Survey 21, into 75 lots for <br /> de~~~opment with single family detached <br /> . resrdences is compatible with the surrounding <br /> ne~gl1borhood and is consistent with present zoning <br /> of the land; , <br /> B. That Tracts A, :6. C, and D of Registered Land <br /> ~' Survey. 214,. consist of approximately 32,38 acres <br /> ~,.' <br /> and- such land is sufficient for the United <br /> Theological Seminary to construct all structures and: <br /> facilities~'planned for completion of the institution; <br /> with a planned maximum enrollment of 290 students. <br /> C. That the revised development plan of United <br /> Theological Seminary is compatible with the eXistin~ <br /> and proposed surrounding neighborhood. <br />
