That the proposed improvement, because it is a radio <br /> transmitting facility, and not a radio studio, is <br /> not a permitted use in land zoned Light Industrial <br /> 1.-1, except under a special use permit. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application for special <br /> permit SP-57 be and is hereby denied for the following reasons: <br /> 1. The proposed development poses a hazard and danger to <br /> highway traffic and highway surveillance. <br /> 2. The proposed development would impair or eliminate <br /> State Patrol activities which prevent and minimize <br /> hazards on adjacent freeways. <br /> 3. The proposed development would be detrimental to <br /> surrounding property and its development to the <br /> highest and best use. <br /> 4. The proposed development would deter and interfere with <br /> the proposed redevelopment of the "downtown area.1I <br /> I 5. The proposed development would be a potential inter- <br /> i ference with effective and essential electronic <br /> communication. <br /> 6.
