II <br /> What does the Watershed District intend to do that the <br /> Minnesota Pollution Control Agency does not do at the <br /> present time? <br /> 5. The Comprehensive Plan on page VIII-9 states: <br /> II.. .requi:r;e a permit for aJ,.l aquatic weed and algae <br /> control..... " <br /> What requirements wiLl, be,:sought by, the Rice Creek <br /> Watershed. If not, what would determine what <br /> type of grading or excavating that would require a <br /> district permit? Would it be the size of the project? <br /> 7. The Comprehensive plan proposes a series of regulations <br /> covering some of the following activities: <br /> a. Drainage <br /> b. Aquatic weed control <br /> c. Discharge of wastes <br /> d. Land development <br /> e. Ground waters and drilling of wells <br /> Is the above regulating going to be done by requiring <br /> permits for such activities? if not, for which activitiE~s <br /> are permits going to be required and for which activitieB <br /> are permits not required? <br /> In the event permits are required, who will issue such <br /> permits, the staff or the managers themselves? <br /> : <br />
