The existing ground graphic as authorized by the city <br /> council on October 23, 1973, s~all be permitted to <br /> continue and no other ground graphics shall be allowed <br /> to be erected on the property unless the existing <br /> ground graphic is removed and the newly erected grounc <br /> graphics meet the requirements of Section 14-180 (b) 2'. <br /> H. Wall graphics which conform to the following standardE <br /> shall be permitted: <br /> 1) The sign authorized by the city council on <br /> October 9, 1973, for the 7-Eleven Store shall be <br /> permitted to continue. <br /> 2) Each business having an ir.jividual entrance shall be <br /> permitted tq attach one (1) .street graphic to the <br /> mansard facing Silver Lake Road. Such, street <br /> graphic shall contain no more than ten (10) items <br /> of graphic communication and shall qnly identify <br /> the business. Each business shall be allocated a <br /> signable area for the erection of such street <br /> graphic. Such signable ali'ea shall be the area of <br /> the mansard above the business' exterior wall <br /> extending from a point in line with one interior <br /> side wall of the business to the other interior <br /> side wall of the business. The street graphic may <br /> not exceed in size fer ty percent (40%) of the <br /> signable area and may not extend closer than 12 <br /> inches to the boundaries of the signable area. <br /> 3) Each business which shares an entrance with <br /> another business, or businesses, shall be permittE!d <br /> to erect one (1) street graphic on the mansard <br /> facing Silver Lake Road. The area of the mansard <br /> which may contain a graphic (overall signable area) <br /> shall be that portion of the mansard above the <br /> entire width of the businesses as facing Silver <br /> Lake Road. Each business sharing the entrance <br /> shall be permitted a signable area in the overall <br /> signable area which is equal in percentage of the <br /> total floor area which the businesses sharing the <br /> entrance occupy. Each street graphic shall not <br /> exceed forty percent (40,%) of each signable area <br /> and may not extend closer than 12 inches to the <br /> outside boundaries of individual signable areas. <br /> Each street graphic shall contain no more than <br /> ten (10) items of graphic communication and shall <br /> only identify the business. <br />
