<br />. <br />, '^ <br /> t <br />. <br />.,: RE$OWTION NO. ) ~ 15" <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR VN-162 <br />WHEREAS an application for variance entitled VN-162 has <br />been made to the City and said application has been processed <br />and reviewed by the Planning Commission at its meetings on <br />September 21 and October 19, 1976, and heard and considered <br />by the Council at a public hearing on November 9, 1976. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to <br />VN-162. <br /> Findinqs of Fact <br />1. That an application for VN-l62 was filed with the <br /> City on September 9, 1976, and was heard and reviewed <br /> by the planning Commission at its meetings of <br /> Septe~er 21 and October 19, 1976~ I <br />2. That the City Council, pursuant to published and <br /> mailed notices held a public hearing on November 9, 1976 <br /> to consider the application. All persons present <br /> at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard~ <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner, <br /> the planning Commission minutes and recommendations, J <br /> and all persons. statements made at the public hearin <br /> were considered including the E;tatements of the <br /> applicant and members of the Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application for VN-162 <br />be hereby approved for signing at 1401 - 1403 - 1405 Silver <br />Lake Road. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the variance approved is <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That six (6) wall directories are permitted, two (2) <br /> for each building entrance, with each tenant permittee;, <br /> a sign of no more than one square foot in area on <br /> that directory and displaying only the name of <br /> the tenant (Exhibit A). The wall directories at each I <br /> entrance shall be located on either side or both side~ <br /> of each entrance within the areas delineated on <br /> Exhibit A as "Wall Directory Signable Areas II. <br />2. That the names of each tenant on the existing ground <br /> sign be changed so as to be of standard size as shown <br /> on Exhibit B with uniform lettering and coloring. <br /> .' <br />
