That any plugging or impairment of the operation of the <br /> City sewer system with grease will be considered prima <br /> facia evidence that Section 24-8 of the City Code, <br /> Section 15-147 of the City Code, Article V, Section 5-4A <br /> of the Rules and Regulations for the Metropolitan Sewer <br /> Disposal System have been and are being violated and <br /> that the right of the rendering plant to use the City <br /> sewer system is thereby immediately suspended. The <br /> amount of grease discharged into the City sewer system <br />I shall be 100 mg. per liter or less. If the City sanitary <br /> sewer system or lift station wet well becomes plugged <br /> as a result of the operations at the rendering plants, <br /> the cost of cleaning shall be paid by the rendering <br /> plants making use of that part of the sewer system that <br /> has become plugged. <br /> 4. That the Mengelkoch Company be appraised that the City <br /> of New Brighton will continue to work with the MPCA and <br /> the Metropolitan Sewer Board to assure that all applicabl <br /> rules, regulations and codes are complied with. <br /> 5. That not less than two, and at the City's discretion, <br /> up to four stack tests are to be made each year and <br /> that frequent inspections be made by the City Sanitarian <br /> to make sure the Mengelkoch Company is complying with <br /> the City's requirements. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That violation of, or failure to <br /> comply with, any conditions of this Offensive Trades License <br /> shall be cause for suspension or revocation of this license, and <br /> that such suspension or revocation shall be considered by the <br /> City Council. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of December ,1979. <br /> J <br /> ~o.-.j ~ <br /> Dennis Zylla, City Manager <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ~. ~- . -. ~~. i1 i>L4.1 A-_ <br /> Vernon C.
