RESOLUTION NO. <br />08-063 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A FINAL PLANNED RESIDENTIAL <br />IHE , an application has been made by the Clifton House, Inc. to permit construction of 10, <br />290 .f. 6 -bed Christian Science nursing facility/inspiration center, with 2 rest and study <br />suite j on approximately 2.08 acres to be subdivided from 1190 Long Lake Road, and <br />JHER E As, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br />1. Applications for preliminary Planned Residential Development and Site Plan were received <br />on December 28, 2007. <br />2. T I a Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing <br />on January 15, 2008 and all present were given a chance to freely speak at the hearing. <br />3. T I a Planning Commission opened the public hearing and considered the application on <br />J uary 15, 2008. The Commission voted to table the request to allow the applicant time to <br />c sider a revised plan more consistent with the 2005 proposal, previously approved. <br />4. a Planning Commission continued the public hearing on February 19, 2008 where all <br />p ies present were able to speak. The Commission voted to approve the request subject to <br />5. Tic City Council considered the Preliminary PRD, Site Plan, and Minor Subdivision requests <br />on February 26, 2008 and granted conditional approval. <br />6. A i i application for Final PRD approval with received on May 22, 2008, which was within 90 <br />d i ys of Preliminary PRD approval. <br />7. A lil information letter notifying the public of the request for Final PRD approval was mailed <br />o I June 12, 2008. <br />8. T le Planning Commission considered the Final PRD request on June 17, 2008 and <br />r commended approval subject to 7 conditions. <br />9. T e City Council considered the Final PRD request on June 24, 2008. <br />[HER rjAs, the Planning Commission and City Council make the following Findings of Fact with <br />resp to the Final Phase Planned Residential Development (RD2008-001): <br />1. e property is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential. <br />2. T le property is guided in the Comprehensive Plan for Low Density Residential. <br />3. T e property is legally described in attached Exhibit A. <br />4. T a applicant submitted for final phase PRD approval within 90 days of preliminary phase <br />P D approval. <br />5. a proposed Planned Residential Development will apply to the 2.08 acres proposed for <br />s division, as illustrated on attached Exhibit A. <br />6. a proposal was considered in accordance with the following Final Phase Planned <br />sidential Development requirements of Section 7-090: <br />Development\6-24-2008\RD2008-001 (Clifton House) - PRD RESOLUTION.doc <br />
