Pat Commers, Long Lake Improvement Association <br />Representative. <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to approve <br />the 1983 specifications for removal of tree stumps. <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to adopt the <br />revised addendum to the Forestry Joint Powers Agreement <br />with the City of Mounds View combining attractive tree <br />removal services. <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to authorize <br />staff to issue a purchase order to Lillie Suburban <br />Newspapers in the amount of $2,160.05 for printing of <br />a Spring/Summer brochure. <br />4 Ayes -0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to authorize <br />staff to purchase 120 shade trees from Cross Nursery's, <br />Lakeville, in the amount of $2, 035.00. <br />4 Ayes - Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />The City Manager reviewed the recommendation regarding <br />the 1983 City Council Goals. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to adopt the <br />Statement of 1983 Goals and direct that they be trans- <br />mitted to all Advisory Committee Members and New <br />Brighton Bulletin, Department Heads and also be <br />published in the City Newsletter. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Harcus to amend the motion <br />by providing for the following amendments to the list <br />of goals: <br /> <br />1. That the statement regarding Police Department <br />Goals be amended to indicate that the goal is <br />to "continue'l improvement in communication <br />efforts". <br />2. That the second Fire Department goal to amended <br />to read "continue good" communications. <br />3.
