Mr. Martins <br />reviewed Winfield Development's proposed develop- <br />ment noting that they are proposing a total develop- <br />ment of approximately 125,000 square feet and <br />that phase #1 would consist of slightly over <br />54,000 square feet. Mr. Martins noted that <br />they are proposing to begin phase #1 in July of <br />this year. Mr. Martins also reviewed the develop- <br />ment history of Winfield Development. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSAL TO UNDERTAKE AND <br />FINANCE A COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, and to set <br />a public hearing for March 22, 1983, at 7:35 p.m. <br />for the purpose of considering an application for <br />Industrial Revenue Bonds as submitted by New <br />Brighton Venture I. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Manager reviewed staff report regarding <br />the proposed upgrading of the Anoka County-Blaine <br />Airport. The Council directed the City Manager to <br />communicate with the Mounds View Council to meet <br />with the MAC representatives to explain their <br />proposal to upgrade the airport and to coordinate <br />that meeting with the proposed meeting with the <br />Legislators to discuss Local Government Aid.
