<br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, March 8, <br />1983, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 <br />Fifth Ave. N.W. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Greg Harcus, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Blomquist and Janecek <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />James Fornell, City Manager <br />Charles LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Leslie Proper, Director of Public Works <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />James Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />John Kelley, Chief of Police <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Schmidt to approve the <br />minutes of February 8, 1983, and February 22, 1983. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council directed receipt of <br />the Citizens Study Committee minutes of February 23, 1983, <br />and the Environmental Quality Commission minutes of <br />February 9, 1983. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to approve the <br />following consent agenda items: <br /> <br />1. Consolidated Fund Vouchers Nos. 070440-070473, <br />062904-062982. <br /> <br />2. Liquor Fund Vouchers Nos. 19447-19526. <br /> <br />3.
