Johnson, Assistant to the Ci Manager �.S° 4ZSZ�' <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report Comments attached <br />Recommendation: <br />City staff is seeking City Council input and guidance regarding the future status of the City's <br />Information Technology services. <br />Legislative History: <br />None <br />Financial Impact: <br />In this report, City staff will provide the City Council with an overview of the Information <br />Technology Services proposal submitted by the City of Roseville. <br />Explanation: <br />Background Information Regarding the City of Roseville I -Net Services - <br />Per the direction of the City Council, City staff recently contacted the City of Roseville about <br />obtaining a preliminary price quote for providing IT services to the City of New Brighton. The <br />intent of this report is to provide a fair and unbiased opinion regarding the pro's and con's for <br />outsourcing the City's informational technology needs to a third party. The City of Roseville <br />currently provides IT services to eighteen government agencies that are located in Ramsey, <br />Anoka, and Washington Counties. The following is a list of those agencies: <br />1. City of Lauderdale <br />2. City of St. Anthony <br />3. City of East Bethel <br />4. City of Falcon Heights <br />5.
