Monson. <br /> <br />Floyd Thompson, 4523 Birch Court, Shoreview, <br />stated that he was the owner of the vacant <br />property and asked what the proposed cost of <br />the assessment would be. <br /> <br />The City Engineer stated that the estimated <br />cost was $6.84 per lineal front foot. <br /> <br />Mr. Thompson asked if the whole street had <br />to be replaced or if it could be just patched <br />or overlayed. <br /> <br />The City Engineer replied that the roads in <br />the area had been constructed between 1965 <br />and 1967 and that several portions were very, <br />very bad and had been patched many times. <br />The City Engineer further replied that a test <br />had been conducted on the street to see if it <br />could just be over1ayed and that that test indicated <br />the roads were not in sufficiently good condition <br />to justify just an overlay project. <br />
