<br />- <br />F <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />February 25, 1982 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Public Hearings <br />No one present at the meeting spoke to <br />the issue regarding Cable TV. <br /> <br />Cable TV <br />7:40 - 7:44 <br />Report No. 82-46 <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek <br />to close the hearing. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />council took no further action. <br /> <br />The City Engineer reviewed the proposed <br />Improvement Project and associated costs. <br /> <br />Improvement <br />Project #82-1 <br />Report No. 82-36 <br />7:45 - 8:00 <br />RESOLUTION #2560 <br /> <br />The Mayor with consent of the Council <br />directed receipt of a letter from <br />Mr. and Mrs. Erickson. <br /> <br />Councilmember Benke asked if the small triangles <br />of right-of-way easement would be condemned. <br /> <br />Les proper, City Engineer, stated that staff <br />is not recommending that the properties be <br />condemned if they cannot be acquired through <br />negotiation. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mrs. Edward Erickson, 1575 27th Avenue NW, <br />stated that they were an adjacent property <br />owner and that when the property to the south <br />had been built recently some of the material <br />had been spilled over onto their site. Mrs. Erickson <br />said that they would require that the fill be <br />removed. <br /> <br />The City Engineer replied that the property <br />owner had been notified of this filling problem <br />and that the fill would be removed. <br /> <br />Jane Erickson, 1575 28th Avenue NW, questioned <br />whether the removing of fill spilled onto their <br />property would have an effect on construction <br />of the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />The City Engineer replied that the fill material <br />that had been spread on the property should have <br />no impact on the construction of the proposed <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Judy Stone, 1570 27th Avenue NW, asked how big <br />the triangle of private property to be acquired <br />would be and if they would be assessed for any cost. <br /> <br />The City Engineer replied that the triangle of <br />property proposed to be acquired at 1570 and" <br />1575 27th Avenue NW were approximately five feet <br />by ten feet and that all assessments for the <br />project were proposed to be spread over the <br />three undeveloped properties. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
