- F City of New Brighton February 25, 1982 I Public Hearings No one present at the meeting spoke to the issue regarding Cable TV. Cable TV 7:40 - 7:44 Report No. 82-46 Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to close the hearing. 4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried council took no further action. The City Engineer reviewed the proposed Improvement Project and associated costs. Improvement Project #82-1 Report No. 82-36 7:45 - 8:00 RESOLUTION #2560 The Mayor with consent of the Council directed receipt of a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Erickson. Councilmember Benke asked if the small triangles of right-of-way easement would be condemned. Les proper, City Engineer, stated that staff is not recommending that the properties be condemned if they cannot be acquired through negotiation. I Mrs. Edward Erickson, 1575 27th Avenue NW, stated that they were an adjacent property owner and that when the property to the south had been built recently some of the material had been spilled over onto their site. Mrs. Erickson said that they would require that the fill be removed. The City Engineer replied that the property owner had been notified of this filling problem and that the fill would be removed. Jane Erickson, 1575 28th Avenue NW, questioned whether the removing of fill spilled onto their property would have an effect on construction of the cul-de-sac. The City Engineer replied that the fill material that had been spread on the property should have no impact on the construction of the proposed cul-de-sac. I Judy Stone, 1570 27th Avenue NW, asked how big the triangle of private property to be acquired would be and if they would be assessed for any cost. The City Engineer replied that the triangle of property proposed to be acquired at 1570 and" 1575 27th Avenue NW were approximately five feet by ten feet and that all assessments for the project were proposed to be spread over the three undeveloped properties. -2-
