<br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />February 25, 1982 <br /> <br />The City Engineer replied that the residents <br />have been given credit for having a <br />bituminous curbing in place and that based on <br />that only 50% of the cost of the concrete curbing <br />is proposed at present. The City Engineer stated <br />that since the cost of bituminous is roughly half <br />the cost of concrete that if in fact this project <br />were proposed for bituminous curbing that the full <br />100% assessment cost would be proposed. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to close <br />the hearing. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION <br />OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF FOREST DALE ROAD/REDWOOD LANE <br />AREA STREETS, PROJECT #82-6. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The City Engineer reviewed the proposed <br />project and project costs. <br /> <br />Keith Harstad, petitioner, stated that he <br />urged the Council to approve this improvement <br />project. <br /> <br />No one else present at the hearing spoke to <br />the issue. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to close <br />the hearing. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION ORDERING <br />IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED <br />CONSTRUCTION OF INNSBRUCK NORTH 3RD ADDITION <br />STREETS AND UTILITIES, PROJECT #82-7. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The City Engineer reviewed the proposed <br />project and project costs noting that the <br />Council has approved the final plat which <br />included a half-street with the remaining <br />half-street to be acquired from St. Mary's <br />Hospital. <br /> <br />Mr. John Kennevick, attorney representing <br />St. Mary's Hospital, submitted a letter stating <br />St. MaTY's position on the proposed road and <br />assessments and was present to answer questions. <br /> <br />-8- <br /> <br />... <br />""" <br /> <br />Improvement <br />Project #82-7 <br />Report NO. 82-36 <br />9:18 - 9:21 <br />RESOLUTION #2564 <br /> <br />Improvement <br />project #82-8 <br />Report No. 82-36 <br />9:22 - 9:40 <br />RESOLUTION #2565 <br />
