<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />April 13, 1982 <br /> <br />Counci1member Janecek asked that the record <br />reflect that she abstained on the vote regarding <br />comprehensive rezoning regarding Groups I & IV. <br /> <br />Vote on motion. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - 1 abstention (Janecek) <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to <br />authorize the Planning Commission to hold <br />a public hearing to consider amendments <br />to Chapter 9 of the New Brighton zoning <br />Code regarding signs. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Zoning Code Amendment <br />Chapter 9, Signs <br />Report No. 82-90 <br /> <br />After considerable discussion the City Council <br />acted in the following manner: <br /> <br />zoning Code Amendment <br />Recreational Vehicles <br />Report No. 82-99 <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to <br />direct the Council Representative of the <br />Planning Commission to indicate to the <br />Planning Commission that the City Council <br />supports the staff position regarding a <br />proposed zoning code amendment regarding <br />recreational vehicles and that the Council <br />is not in favor of such an ordinance at <br />this time. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Councilmember Benke noted that it might be <br />good to have the New Brighton division of <br />the Suburban Chamber of Commerce involved <br />in this Industrial Task Force. <br /> <br />Industrial Task Force <br />Report No. 82-100 <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to <br />direct staff and request the Planning Commission <br />to establish an Industrial Task Force for purposes <br />of reviewing and reconm~nding changes to the industrial <br />use section of the zoning Code. <br />S ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to <br />appro~0 Final Plat, PL-l28 subject to the <br />conformance with the conditions in Council <br />Resolution #2519. <br /> <br />Final Plat, PL-128 <br />Innsbruck North- <br />silver Lake <br />Report No. 82-101 <br /> <br />The Mayor appointed Dennis Raymond, Acting <br />Chief of Police as Acting Director of <br />Civil Defense. <br /> <br />Acting Director <br />of civil ;)c.fense <br />Report No. 82-102 <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING AGREEfv'.E'NT AND ADDITION OF <br />SECURITIES ASSIGNED TO CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />PUBLIC DEPOSITORY. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Securities - <br />City Public Depository <br />RESOLUTION #2590 <br /> <br />-5- <br />
