<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City oL ~ew Brighton <br />April 13, 1982 <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to reject <br />the purchase agreement submitted by Carl and <br />Christine Ruser. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist to <br />authorize staff to develop a Joint Powers <br />Agreement with Roseville for a water system <br />interconnection on County Road "D". <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works reviewed the <br />staff report noting that the FMC Wayne <br />sweeper bid appeared to be identical in <br />terms of specifications to the 1976 Wayne <br />sweeper that the City currently owns. <br />Mr. Proper reviewed the maintenance record <br />of the 1976 Wayne noting the numerous <br />problems and costs and stated he was <br />concerned that the Wayne sweeper now bid <br />may have those same problems. ML proper <br />noted that the Elgin Pelican III was now <br />heavily used throughout the State of <br />Minnesota and that it had a very good <br />track record of performance and maintenance. <br /> <br />~otion by Janecek, seconded by Benke to <br />authorize the purchase of the 1982 Elgin <br />Pelican III from MacQueen Equipment, Inc. <br />for $44,642.00 plus trade-in with funding <br />to be provided from Revenue Sharing. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to <br />waive the reading, hold the second reading, <br />adopt and order publication of an ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTERS 4, 10, 15 AND 27 OF THE <br />CITY CODE RELATING TO LICENSE FEES. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Schmidt to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />SETTING LICENSE FEES AS AUTHORIZED BY <br />CHAPTERS 4, 10, 15 AND 27 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />CITY CODE and to direct staff to review all <br />other City license fees and to report back <br />to the City Council at a later date. <br />S ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, secondect by Benke to <br />waive the reading, hold the second reading <br />adopt and order publication of an ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING THE NEW BRIGHTON ZONING ORDINANCE <br />BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF <br />NEW BRIGHTON WITHIN GROU~S I AND IV OF THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE REZONINGS. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />Water System <br />Interconnection - <br />Roseville <br />Report No. 82-95 <br /> <br />Award Bid - <br />Street Sweeper <br />Report No. 82-89 <br /> <br />License Fees <br />Report No. 82-96 <br />ORDINANCE #492 <br />RESOLUTION #2589 <br /> <br />Comprehensive <br />Rezonings - Group <br />I & IV <br />Report No. 82-98 <br />ORDINANCE #493 <br />
