<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof a regular meeting of the New <br />Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, April 27, 1982 <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 5th Avenue NW, <br />New Brighton, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gregg Harcus, Councilmembers Bob Benke, <br />Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Janecek, Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Jim Fornel1, City Manager <br />Charles LeFevere, City Attorney <br />John Grau, Acting Director of Finance <br />Les proper, Director of Public Works <br />Jim Winkels, Director of Community Development <br />Joan Archer, City planner <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Hotion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to approve the <br />minutes of April 13, 1982 as presented. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Mayor with the consent of the Council directed receipt <br />of the Citizen Study Committee minutes of March 24, 1982. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />Motion by Janecek,seconded by Blomquist to approve the <br />follovling items: <br /> <br />1. Consolidated fund vouchers 69357-69422; 6068l-60760 <br />2. Liquor fund vouchers 18079-18119 <br />3. Rental of portable toilets for parks. Report No. 82-109 <br />4. Purchase of T-shirts for youth softball <br />and T-ball programs. Report No. 82-108 <br /> <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Public Hearings <br />Mr. Al Loge1in, 933 11th Avenue NW, was <br />present. <br /> <br />PL-130, PRD-34 <br />Leier Estates <br />Report No. 82-111 <br />7:36 - 7:38 <br /> <br />The City planner noted that the Planning <br />Commission had continued discussion of <br />the proposed preliminary plat and planned <br />residential development and that because <br />of thot staff was recommending that the <br />public hearing be continued until some future <br />date. <br />
